I’m super excited to be part of the We Search. We Find. We ShopStyle campaign for ShopStyle and POPSUGAR Select, through which I was asked to style and share some my favorite pieces. I ended up pulling lots of bright, sparkly items from my closet with varied textures, patterns and colors. I styled my ShopStyle Everlane t-shirt with an ASOS sequin skirt, black Rag & Bone Harrow booties and bangles from Madewell – I wanted a playful (but neutral) center point around which to arrange all of the other pieces. (PS: details and links to featured items are at the end of the post!)

ShopStyle’s ad campaign launched this month, and I’m loving the energetic, personalized approach – it’s like getting a little glimpse into someone else’s closet. You might have already seen one of the ShopStyle commercials on TV – but if not, be sure to check out the TV spot posted below!

I’ve always felt kinda silly for wanting a faux fur vest. For whatever reason, I had thought up this image of me wearing one with leggings while carrying my dog around in a giant handbag (FYI: I have never done this). However, when I saw this grey faux fur number cinched with a metallic skinny belt at Banana Republic, I went for it. (P.S. They’re having a 40% off sale right now). First of all, the color is unusual (it has a hint of blue), but it’s neutral enough to wear with anything – and simply adds dimension and texture to outfits. Secondly, it’s great for layering (I wore it under my J.Crew duffle coat this weekend and stayed SUPER warm). These are the things you consider when you live in a freezing cold city such as Boston.

To keep the look casual, I wore a blue Zara top to bring out the blue tones in the fur and a pair of distressed skinny jeans (no, I didn’t rip the knee myself). The finishing touch to keep me comfortable for a long day of errands: my black Rag & Bone Harrow booties. These had been on my wish list for ages – and, needless to say, I was beyond excited to score this pair on sale. (If you’re ordering for yourself, definitely get a full size up.)
