Goodbye, 2013! Can you believe it’s New Year’s Eve? This past week felt like a blur, after Christmas in California and traveling to Chicago for my best friend’s wedding. And now 2014 has crept up on me. I decided to look through my outfit posts from the past few months and pick a few of my favorites – so here they are! See below to link to original posts and outfit details.

I hope everyone has a fabulous New Year’s – I have a feeling 2014 is going to be awesome and I can’t wait.

Merry Christmas Eve! Okay, so I hate to brag but I’m in Northern California right now and it’s actually warm enough for bare arms and legs (I had almost forgotten how amazing the sun feels). Today’s outfit post features one of my favorite fall/winter color combos: green and black. I love this Amanda Uprichard dress with its vegan leather hem – it amps up the simple sheath and makes it work for day or night. I wore it with a simple black blazer and Rag & Bone booties (these are getting a lot of play recently) for a slightly more casual look.

Also getting lots of use out of my new Phillip Lim bag (early xmas gift!) — it’s the perfect size for traveling. I know black bags are a major wardrobe staple, and surprisingly this is my first. I like that it’s structured, but still kinda edgy with gold hardware and textured leather. Such a great gift from my mom!

Just a quick post today – and apologies for seriously slacking this past week (I’m in California with my boyfriend’s family for the holidays). I took these photos before work one morning last week, when the weekend snow had iced over. Icy sidewalks are an aspect of Boston winters that I always dread – and yet it doesn’t stop me from living dangerously in heels.

I wore some subtly sparkly/metallic 7FAM boyfriend jeans in an ice blue color (apropos) with a silky white blouse from Madewell (get 30% off with code “toyou”), and a classic navy schoolboy blazer from J.Crew (also 30% off right now with code “giftnow”). Magenta suede pumps provide a much-needed pop of color against all that ice.

Happy holidays! Will be posting more this week.
