The past week has been pretty crazy – it seems like every time I’ve had a chance to sit down and work on a post, it happens to be after 1:00am and I give up in favor of bed (needless to say, I haven’t been getting much sleep). Anyways, I’ll be on vacation for the next week (!), but I’m bringing my camera and laptop along with me (can’t stay away, I guess). I’m hoping the warm weather will inspire some great outfits – and, in turn, some new content for the blog.
Anyways, back to this end-of-winter/early Spring outfit in Boston. I love the combo of ivory and bright blue – it’s classic, but feels fresh and modern with a boxy, structured jacket like this. Once again I’m sporting my new favorite jeans (they’re so comfortable you guys) – this time dressing them up with gold metallic pumps and an Equipment silk shirt that I scored at Nordstrom Rack (and it clearly needs to be steamed…oops!). I really like the unexpected pop of bright yellow — when the cuffs of the shirt peek out from under the jacket. A pseudo-tuck makes the look a bit casual and undone, and I’m all about that.
