Hi, remember me?! I can’t believe I’ve gone so long with posting, but I guess it’s always good to take small breaks from the things you love (absence does make the heart grow fonder, after all). In case you haven’t seen my overactive Instagram account recently, I just spent a lovely and relaxing vacation in Costa Rica – and I’m returning to the States feeling recharged and ready to get back into a routine – with my blog, and life in general.

As cliché as it sounds, this little hiatus gave me a chance to think about my approach to blogging in 2015 and helped inspire some new, creative ideas for future posts. Since I’m now an engaged lady and planning a wedding in a short time frame (aiming for September 2015), I’ll be doing my best to keep everything – blog, work, life, wedding – as balanced and stress-free as possible. We’ll see how that goes. And while I might include some bridal tidbits every once in awhile, I promise not to turn this into a wedding blog (there are already too many good ones out there as it is)… but you can totally follow my Pinterest board if you’re interested!

Anyways, here’s my first post of 2015. Better late than never! I was all about rompers on this trip — and this little ASOS number was on repeat (until I spilled on it one night…oops). Shooting outfit photos in warm weather definitely did not suck and I feel pretty lucky that I was able to sneak in a few pics here and there. Surprisingly enough, these photos captured the first and last time I wore heels on my trip. My poor little tootsies needed a break. I hope your year is off to a great start and that you’ll continue reading now that I’m back in action!
