Hi, I’m back, and I’m a married woman! First, let me just say I’m sorry for the extended hiatus and I really hope you haven’t abandoned my blog entirely! I promise I have an explanation: when the combo of wedding planning + a full time job started to overwhelm me, I thought it would be best to hit pause on at least one aspect of my life. Because I was literally sleeping 3-4 hours a night and feeling stressed beyond belief. I’ve missed blogging, but to be honest – it’s been really tough to resume things now that I’m settling back into my “normal” routine post-wedding (which basically consists of working and stuffing my face with food nonstop). I’ve been in a bit of a slump, but I’m ready to tackle fall (and fall fashion) – just after this one warm-weather outfit! Please bear with me!

Kev took these photos of me while we were on our mini moon in Panama and I wanted to share a little remnant of tropical style. I’ll also pull together a recap of our stay in Panama soon, along with photos of the glorious American Trade Hotel (an Ace hotel) where we stayed – it was unbelievably cool and impeccably designed. People have been asking me “why Panama?” because I guess it seems like a random choice for a mini moon… but it’s definitely on the verge of becoming a really trendy destination (and for good reason). You’ll see!

Anyways, one afternoon when it was pouring rain, we took a trip to the Soho Mall – a super fancy collection of high-end stores (like Chanel, Saint Laurent, Valentino, etc.) in Panama City. I did some shopping at Topshop – since we don’t have one in Boston and ended up buying these wildflower print pants. They were super comfy to wear during a long day of museum visits and aimless wandering around Casco Viejo. I paired them with a white sequin crop top and the perfect pair of caramel leather sandals from J.Crew.

I promise I have some seasonally-appropriate outfit posts lined up. Soon! I hope you had a nice long weekend!

Looking back at these beach photos makes my heart ache a little (especially since I’m writing this on my sofa while wrapped in a faux fur throw and wearing a flannel pajama set…). Sigh. Anyways, during our vacation in Costa Rica, I had a chance to try out a bright and bold bikini from Aussie swimwear brand Triangl. After months of admiring their ridiculously gorgeous Instagram feed and the collection of stylish and sleek suits featured – I was excited to pick one out for myself. I decided on The Milly (one of their most popular styles) in an electric blue called “Santa Rosa Splash” and it arrived just in time for my vacation.

On multiple occasions during our trip, we got a little adventurous and hiked over some crazy rock formations to find hidden white sand beaches. Luckily, these suits stay in place (no riding up or shifting around on your bum) and they don’t get clingy or baggy when wet. Perfect for the rare occasion when you aren’t just lounging in the sand. Since Triangl bikinis are made from neoprene, they boast the same benefits as wetsuits: they’re structured, quick-drying and fit like a second skin – all reasons why this became my go-to suit in Costa Rica. Plus, you can’t beat the ultra-flattering cut and sleek black piping! I even pretended like the neoprene automatically granted surfing skills, too. If you’re new to Triangl, check out their collection of bikini sets (I’ve got my eye on this one and this one) and try one out for yourself.

Yay, it’s Friday! Quick little post today with the last of my vacation photos (which might be a good thing – since from now on I’ll actually be wearing Boston-appropriate outfits). But seriously, if this flood of pastels doesn’t get you excited about spring and summer, I don’t know what will. Love these pink pastel coated pants as an alternative to my usual white denim – the pink is so light that it works like a neutral. For a casual al fresco dinner, this is about as easy at it gets: springy denim, a cute printed cami, colorful necklace and a pop of leopard.

PS: only a few more days to enter the i love koi swimsuit giveaway! Now that the weather is finally warming up, can’t you envision yourself lounging on the beach in one of those gorgeous bikinis?!
