Well, this blazer is kind of the most amazing thing in my closet right now, on account of the beaded crystal collar (I mean, really?!). I’ve worn it for a few sets of photos (coming soon), but here I decided to move away from my usual gray or black in favor of a warmer neutral fall palette. Also a good opportunity to wear these (kinda weird/kinda cool) brown denim skinnies — a welcomed change from all my blue and black jeans. In this case, they worked perfectly with the colors in the houndstooth blazer.

I also wanted to dress neutrally so I could let this bold Furla bag do it’s thing. Last week, I helped host a really fun event to celebrate the newly-opened Furla store at Copley Place (this red leather beauty was my date/literal arm candy for the night). If you’re in the Boston area, I definitely recommend a visit to the store – it’s bright, open and full of stunning Italian leather bags (at great price points, too). They have everything from colorful wallets (which make great gifts) to distinctive and chic fur-trimmed satchels. I chose this bold color-blocked bag for its classic shape and because it’s different from anything I own – plus, it’s super practical for work/travel (holds my MacBook!).

Have a great Wednesday!
