First of all, happy Friday and happy Halloween! I can’t believe November starts tomorrow — fall is speeding by way too quickly (and I know pretty soon I’ll be bundled up and pink-nosed in all of my outfit photos). Anyways. Today’s post is perfectly fall-appropriate — with stripes, ripped denim and some bright raspberry patent pumps. I’m loving this fitted blazer/jacket with its black striped detailing and subtle metallic fabric. Ideal for casual, light layering.
I’m a big fan of graphic stripes in any capacity (and when paired with other bold pieces) — but in this case, I opted for simple. I’ve been really into classic, delicate jewelry recently and was super excited to discover Wye Road – a jewelry line specializing in dainty gold pieces all handmade in NYC. I’m wearing “the Valerie” necklace here (named after the designer’s sister!) and I’ve found myself reaching for it every morning when I’m getting ready since it’s understated and works with everything. Starting on November 3rd, I’ll be co-hosting a Wye Road giveaway with a group of my favorite blogger buds — so you’ll have a chance to check out the full collection and enter to win a pretty little piece of your own.
