It’s day two of my “end-of-summer getaway” series with Anthropologie (if you missed it, check out the first post here). When I was picking five pieces to style four different ways, this skirt was at the top of my list. The warm, saturated colors make it a good transition piece heading into fall, but I think the bold floral print still has a bit of a tropical vibe (or maybe that’s just my wishful thinking). Anyways, I’ve been really into pencil skirts recently and wanted to wear one more casually. Luckily, this pick seems to have been built for vacation mode – when you’re strolling around with no agenda, admiring the scenery or grabbing a mid-afternoon drink.
This crochet pullover is also essential – especially in New England where the weather can be unpredictable (even in August) and sometimes requires light layering. A panama hat, embroidered tote and tortoise sunnies add the finishing touches to this easy, breezy getaway style.
Check back later this week to see how I mixed and matched these pieces for two more vacation-ready outfits. Happy Wednesday!
