I seriously cannot believe we’re nearing the end of July. I mean, I don’t want to be a Debbie Downer here… but, really?! Fall fashion is starting to make an appearance (partially exciting/partially depressing) and meanwhile I’m trying to take advantage of long summer days and this glowing golden light that comes right before sunset (blogger heaven).
Even though most of my outfit posts involve super high pumps, I’m allll for casual and comfortable shoes in the summer – especially when the beach and/or water is involved. Everyone’s familiar with the classic Sperry Top-Sider boat shoes (I wear mine on rainy days when Hunter boots feel too cumbersome) – but I was pretty excited to try these silver slip-ons. They’ve got that iconic, all-American look (but updated in metallic silver for a slightly less preppy vibe). With scalloped lace shorts and a chambray button-down, this is a pretty effortless summer outfit – perfect for evening picnics and golden hour frolicking. Have a great weekend!
