Happy Wednesday! Today’s casual outfit is really all about the shoes (and for once, they’re not heels). I’ve had my eye on these New Balance for J.Crew sneakers since I saw them in the spring style guide – but, since Boston has been smothered in snow this winter, it was hard to justify buying any footwear that wasn’t waterproof and fur-lined. But I kept thinking about how I might style them if it ever got warmer (plus, I noticed some sizes were starting to sell out on the J.Crew site…) so I went for it. And I’m so glad I did! They’re the perfect balance of sporty and chic – with just enough metallic to make them feel special.

Get yourself a pair (the neon is amazing, too) before they sell out!
