Last week, I hosted a really fun event at the Lord & Taylor store in Boston to support local charities and check out a fashion presentation from 424 Fifth (Lord & Taylor’s private label). I was so impressed with the collection that I ended up doing a little shopping, too (it was hard to resist) and ended up picking up this floral moto jacket. Noelani, of Mon Petit Chou Chou, was wearing it during the event and I fell in love! The contrast of tough moto details and a soft watercolor floral print makes it feel unexpected and edgy – plus it’s made from some seriously buttery leather. It was also really fun meeting the designers of 424 Fifth during the event and hearing about the design process (this blurred rose print was created in-house).
Since the jacket is a bit of an attention-grabber on its own, I stuck to simple pieces for the rest of the outfit: basic denim, black suede pumps and a silky top. Hope you had a great weekend!
