Wow, so December is speeding right on by! Hanukkah just started and Christmas is coming soon – which means I desperately need to get my act together and buy gifts for everyone. Last weekend I was at least able to pick up a Christmas tree and I spent Sunday night decorating it while Kevin watched football on the couch (haha). ‘Tis the season, I guess! Anyways, today’s post is a collaboration with Old Navy to feature some of the super affordable and cozy pieces for winter. I was challenged to try styling some culottes, and I was definitely up for it when I saw these cute printed shorts. Totally not a typical choice for December, but the weather was unseasonably warm (no jacket required) and I layered with a tunic and oversized sweater. I topped the outfit with a vibrant plaid scarf (only $9… what?!) – mixing prints and textures so the overall look is a little funky/crazy. Sometimes I’m unpredictable like that! The great thing about Old Navy is the fact you can pick up a few cozy sweaters and on-trend accessories (they have the best scarves!) without breaking the bank. And saving a little money is definitely something to be thankful for during the holidays, right? Check out the links below to shop the outfit!
