I hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend! Mine was relaxing and fun – full of family time, sunbathing and lots of grilling/ eating/s’moresing. Before braving the hellish traffic to Martha’s Vineyard, I had a chance to take a few photos in this made-for-summer periwinkle lace dress with open sides. The first thing that drew me to this dress was the eye-catching pastel shade – and secondly, the intricate detail and structured neckline/shoulders (umm.. and it’s only $30). Although it was a little roomy across the chest panel, the overall fit was surprisingly flattering and the color is even lovelier in person (absolutely perfect for a garden cocktail party, if you have one to attend this summer…). For a bit of an unexpected combo, I paired it with a metallic copper clutch, my new favorite iridescent pumps and rose gold jewelry. (P.S. I’m really obsessed with this new rose gold and peach watch from The Fifth Watches, an Aussie brand that’s pretty awesome and affordable.)
I’m going to NY for work at the end of this week, but planning to post more in the next few days. Have a good Monday!
