The beginning of February marks the end of my tolerance for winter weather. Every year around this time, I start considering a move to California and resenting every coat in my closet (except, maybe, this citrus green one). Fairly standard sentiments if you live in New England.
I find the best way to combat the winter blues is to wear all the bright colors you can. Even if you’re extremely pale (guilty) and not exactly the poster child for sunny spring weather. Anyways, these amazing pumps make a good segue. They’re velvet, so they feel wintery and substantial – but the watercolor floral print and gold glitter cap toe are a nod to spring. (The notched heel detail is pretty cool too.) I can’t wait for warm weather and spring wardrobes. Seriously.
In other news, I’m very thankful it’s Friday (it’s been a longgg and snowy few days). I hope you have a great weekend!
